What is Camp Photography?
A 3-Day Photography Camp designed to help you build connections in a relaxed environment with other Photographers. There will be classes, creative photoshoots and other activities. This is a place for Photographers to make friends and have a fun time with your camera!
Hey I’m Mike.
I’ve been a Photographer for the past 7 years and the one thing that I have always struggled to find is community. Creating friends in your 20s is so hard let alone finding friends who are Photographers. That’s why I wanted to put together this retreat so that us likeminded people could come together for a weekend and create magic.

Included

We are staying at Southern Grampians Cottages in Dunkeld. There are 9 Cottages on site and I have booked them all. Everyone will get their own Private Bedroom but you may have to share a cottage with one other person.

We will be doing a Sunset Photoshoot on both Friday & Saturday as well as Couples Photo Sessions on Saturday. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to practice and build your portfolio.

Mike will be teaching two Photography specific classes during the workshop. One will be about Editing so be sure to bring your computer along with you.

All meals for the Camp are provided and best believe we have your dietary requirements covered. Snacks, Tea & Coffee are also included.

Where
Camp Photography is happening at Southern Grampians Cottages in Dunkeld, Victoria. About a 2.5 Hour Drive West of Melbourne on the edge of the beautiful Grampians National Park!
There will be an optional bus from Melbourne & Avalon Airports. If you require transportation to camp please tick YES in your Application!

No, you won’t be sharing beds on this Camp. Everyone will have their own private bedroom. Cottages are either 1 Bedroom or 2 Bedroom so you may be sharing a cottage but not a bedroom.

There will be an optional bus from Melbourne & Avalon Airport to the Cottages in the Grampians. If you would like a seat on the bus please say YES on your application :)

Yes, this is a camp for Photographers. The camp activities are heavily based around Photography so you will need to bring your own camera. Any skill level is more than welcome to join.

We will have two Portrait Photoshoots and two Couple Photoshoots. The Photoshoots will not be Wedding Related, simply just creative Photoshoots to help you build skills and portfolio.

I want all campers to feel like this is a safe and supportive environment. The application let’s us know that you are serious about attending.

You must be over 18 to apply! Otherwise this is mostly a camp for young people to find friends and make connection within the industry.

There are only 12 Spots for Creator Camp so get your applications in early. We can’t add more spots because there are only 13 rooms in the cottages.

No, payment is not required until your application has been reviewed and you have been offered a spot. Your spot will not be secured until you have paid and until then you are free to withdraw your application.
